The Umee Gibraltar Rugby Championship
The GRC
The u-mee Gibraltar Rugby Championship (GRC), formerly the Super IVs, encompasses the senior rugby union game on the Rock, having established the League in 2010.
The league consists of four teams, the Ibex Buccaneers, Inline Framing Sharks, Sovereign Scorpions and DHL Stormers. The teams battle each other every year for a chance at the title.
Due to Covid19, this year was played out differently. Instead of the full XV Rugby Union matches that are always played. A different style of touch Rugby 10s was played throughout the season.
Ibex Buccaneers RFC
Having won the Gibraltar Rugby Championship last season, the Buccs are looking to expand on this by lifting the trophy once again.
The GRC is looking to start back up in late March 2021. You can get involved by either joining our Rugby Union Squad, or partnering up and looking into our sponsorship opportunities.
